Level 4: Strength & Habits
With the first 3 levels under control, the outcomes you seek are much easier to build and sustain.

Each month brings a new wellness workshop or series of classes. Lasting anywhere from 30-60 minutes, these sessions provide real-time practice of mental and physical skills as well as insights into a variety of health and wellness topics.

How much does this cost?
It's all FREE for HMI employees and their households. That includes the 1-on-1s, the platform, the live sessions, the Weekly Insights - everything.
Is this required or optional?
Participation is optional. You are free to participate during work hours, by the way.
How do I access the MRx Platform?
Once you register for an account, you will receive an email with a special sign-up link to create your account. Once you create your account you will see your Dashboard, along with all programs and class schedules. You will be able to access the platform on any modern device (i.e. not your old Blackberry or flip phone).
What should I expect on the Movement Rx platform?
In addition to over 400 hours of guided programs, there are live and pre-recorded fitness classes, Ask the PT sessions, Ask the Chef sessions, Mindful Moments, and more!
If I have a question or need technical support, what do I do?
Ask away! Think of us as your coach and physical therapist. For health, fitness, nutrition or mindset questions, join an office hours session! You can also email us at wellness@movement-rx.com or call us at 619-210-0945 x2 from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday (PT).
Is the program mobile-friendly?
Our platform is optimized for any modern device. You can use the program on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
What if I am unsure how to do an exercise?
Every exercise has written and video instruction. Read and listen carefully to the cues you are given for each exercise or movement, as there’s a ton of knowledge distilled into that guidance. You can also contact us for more help.
Do I need a gym membership or can I follow this program at home?
If you choose to follow one of the programs, gym access is great, but not necessary. Most exercises can be done at home with modifications. It is designed to follow what we have our physical therapy patients do during visits. Stick to it and you will feel much, much better.
How much time does this take?
That's up to you. Even if you do as little as 10 minutes a day you will see tremendous results. Some programs ask for 20-40 minutes three or four times a week, others ask for 5 minutes a day.
How soon will I see results?
Great question. This, of course, varies: some folks feel distinct differences as early as the end of the first week. For others, it takes a bit longer. If done properly, you will feel better and be more likely to avoid further issues while on our platform.
I have a specific diagnosis. Are the programs OK for me?
To start with, the programs on the platform can be used by just about anyone. Sciatica, bulged disc, chondromalacia, degenerative conditions, torn labrum, post-op, etc. We've treated all these things in our clinics, and built the platform to include those issues. That said, schedule a 1-on-1 to get more specific guidance, or join any of the Live sessions to ask a question.
