Our theme is “Well-being and Performing Well,” to give you the competitive edge that comes from feeling confident in your health.
Dr. Theresa Larson, Navy SEAL Commander (Ret.) Jon Macaskill, and Mindset/Breath Coach Will Schneider will be joining forces to bring you an engaging day of mindfulness. movement, and team-building activities that will leave you feeling calm, connected, and healthy.
Here’s what you’ll take away from October’s training:
#1. Finally, some downtime!
If you’ve been grinding all summer, you’ll be relieved to know that this offsite is your time to relax and let your body and mind re-orient to well-being . You’ll learn and then experience how mindfulness and breathwork work on a scientific level to reset your nervous system and give you better focus, flow, and ease in your day-to-day work. Even better, you’ll get strategies to take these practices home with you for more peace in your relationship with yourself and others.
#2. Connection with yourself, your coworkers, and our MRx family.
We won’t lie…part of why we are coming is for the chance to connect face-to-face with names and faces we’ve only seen virtually. We believe that connection is part of the secret sauce of well-being…starting with connection to self and extending to those around us. You’ll leave this off-site with a better understanding of how your beliefs are getting in the way of your potential and help you bust through barriers to fulfillment in work, home, and health.
We’ll connect together through physical activity, mindfulness, and mobility, so come ready to move! We’re excited to meet you, some for the first time, others for the second or third!
#3. How to take care of your mind and body for longevity
We want you to be able to perform not only at work, but also at home, within your family, in your relationships, and in the long run. Part of our time together will focus on equipping you with not only the tools, but also the motivation to find your WHY, and use it to fuel your health habits in the long run. We’ll help you identify the signs of burnout and what to do when you find yourself overwhelmed and run down.
